Roanoke, Virginia is a diverse, dynamic, and prosperous community.  We have a great quality of life, a pre-pandemic growing economy, and are positioned well post-pandemic to attract new businesses and people.   Our education system is now a top-notch urban school system that recognizes and appreciates the diversity of our community.  We have more to do to lift up all of our residents, but we have made great strides in improving opportunity and quality of life across the city, and I am excited to continue to make progress.
